ELITE Innovation College Cambridge Joins Hands with NINGBO POWER SOURCE
At 9:00 am, London time, UK (4:00 pm, April 13th, Beijing time, China), Weixiang ZHANG, Chairman of NINGBO POWER SOURCE, and Professor Richard Li-Hua, founder and President of ELITE Innovation College Cambridge (EICC), jointly signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for strategic cooperation in a virtual signing ceremony.
NINGBO POWER SOURCE was developed from the Productivity Promotion Center of Ning hai County. It was registered and established in Hi-tech District, Ningbo City in 2006. By connecting the government, scientific research, finance, education and media, it accumulates top-level talents and resources to serve small and medium-sized enterprises’ innovative and sustainable development. Since its establishment, it has successfully served more than 1,000 firms/customers in different industries, different scales, different development stages, and different business formats. The "Ningbo Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Technology Innovation Consulting Service Platform" owned by NINGBO POWER SOURCE, was supported by the National Ministry of Science and Technology's SME Technology Innovation Fund in 2010. In 2011, their "Ningbo Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Technology Innovation Consulting Service System" was named as the Ningbo Science and Technology Service Industry Demonstration Project.

Chairman Zhang said at the online signing ceremony: "Professor Li-Hua and I are old friends. In 2010, as an expert on technology innovation and technology transfer selected by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the European Union, Professor Li-Hua came to the city of Ningbo for lectures and visits. We had in-depth exploration and exchanges on management of technology and innovation. EICC has advantages: a strong academic atmosphere, academic faculties with rich experience, innovative research and development and other resources. We will rely on the resource invested by both parties and a good foundation for cooperation to promote international technology transfer and high-end scientific and technological innovation cooperation, and enhance Ningbo's core technology innovative ability to promote the internationalization and sustainable development of small and medium-sized enterprises in Ningbo.
There are three meanings of Strategic cooperation with EICC. The first is to promote the establishment [China Embracing Innovation Research Institute] in Innovation Center, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. Taking this as an opportunity to promote international technology transfer, strengthen international scientific and technological innovation exchanges and cooperation, actively integrate into international innovation networks, and create new scientific and technological innovation coordination.
The second is to make Series of Innovation Webinars co-organized by United Nation Academic Impact (UNAI), Research Centre of Technological Innovation, Tsinghua University and China Association for Management of Technology (CAMOT) and hosted by EICC, United Kingdom be launched in the city of Ningbo. It will help Ningbo to promote the establishment of a global innovation alliance, continue to expand the circle of international cooperation friends, realize multilateral scientific and technological innovation cooperation, accelerate the globalization of innovation resources, continue to broaden international innovation and technology cooperation channels, vigorously promote the construction of innovative international carriers, and introduce high-end innovation resources to build an international cooperation platform.
Third, relying on EICC’s strong faculty and innovative R&D advantages, promote the training and development program of [Chief Innovation Officer], and further enhance the innovative power of Ningbo technology enterprises’ talents and leadership."

I can dig into Fan Li's philosophical thoughts and innovative wisdom through the past, present and future of the city of Ningbo with China Embracing Innovation.
