STRATEGIC COLLABORATION WITH XI’AN PEIHUA UNIVERSITY

On August 14, 2021, ELITE Innovation College Cambridge and Xi’an Peihua University in Xi’an, China signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for strategic cooperation.

In response to global higher education and economic globalization in the post COVID-19 era, the two parties will jointly promote and provide the education of innovation and entrepreneurship in the institutions of the global higher education. They will work together to hold and deliver Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forums and Women Leadership Forums both online and offline in China and UK. They will also make efforts immediately for the promotion and design, development and implementation of the bespoke Sino-foreign joint school projects in China for mutual benefit in alignment with China’s strategy and policy in Sino-foreign joint school. They will focus on other mutually beneficial affairs.

According to this agreement, the two parties intend to explore in-depth all-round strategic cooperation. This strategic cooperation will promote both parties to gain a more favorable position in the global higher education and the global economy, tackling challenges and opportunities in the areas of the global higher education and the economic globalization in the post COVID 19 era for developing future leaders and managers.

Profile of Xi’an Peihua University

Xi’an Peihua University is located in the city of Xi’an, one of the ancient capital cities of China and the cradle of Chinese Civilizations. It is first non-profit and full-time private higher education institution approved by the China’s Ministry of Education. It was the first university in the west region of China that could grant the Bachelor Degree.

Xi’an Peihua University has 3 campuses including Gaoxin Campus, Chang’an Campus and Guodu Campus, covering a total land space of over 1.304 million square meters. It has 10 secondary colleges, 5 affiliated hospitals, and 58 undergraduate and pecialist majors, and establishes a mature education system with coordinated development in the field of Engineering Science, Medicine, Management, Finances and Economics, Laws, Education, Literature, Science, and Liberal Art, etc.

Xi’an Peihua University is announced as the Top 50 National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Universities by the China’s Ministry of Education. It is the standing director unit of the National Applied Curriculum Construction Alliance, the chairman unit of the Future University Alliance. It was approved as Shaanxi Provincial Pilot University for application-oriented technical transformation development and was approved as the construction unit of "First-class College" in Shaanxi Province. It has been recognized as the provincial level model higher education university in student innovation and entrepreneurship guidance service.

Profile of ELITE Innovation College Cambridge (EICC)

ELITE Innovation College Cambridge (EICC) is an educational institution, think tank and intelligence platform with a global perspective. It focuses on innovative research and is committed to creating a highly innovative "ELITE Innovation College Cambridge" at the heart of world innovation. She was founded in September 2015 and is located in the St. John’s Innovation Center in Cambridge. Her history can be traced back to at the International Association for Management of Technology (IAMOT) International Conference held at Tsinghua University in 2006. A group of outstanding management scholars initiated the China Association for Management of Technology (CAMOT). CAMOT was subsequently registered in the UK. Since its inception, ELITE Innovation Cambridge College has successfully held CAMOT International Conferences and China Embracing Innovation Forums at Tsinghua University in China, Cambridge University in the UK, Bournemouth, Lavasier in France and Helsinki in Finland, and has provided customized leadership development, management innovation and executive development and coaching projects.

ELITE is an acronym of E-Learning of Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship within an O2O innovation university in the global higher education. We are building four distinctive colleges based on the 15 years of scientific research and innovation accumulated by the [China Association for Management of Technology] (CAMOT) on the technology innovation platform of [ELITE Innovation College Cambridge]. Offline tutoring centers located in selected cities are closely connected. Through these colleges, at this stage we can build strong competitiveness and core advantages together with other academic colleges of the university.
