On 25th October 2021, Dr. Lucy Meredith, Provost and Deputy Vice-Chancellor, University of the West of Scotland (UWS) and Professor Richard Li-Hua, Founder and President of ELITE Innovation College Cambridge (EICC), jointly signed a Collaboration Agreement confirming ongoing dialogue on strategic cooperation at EICC Headquarter, ST Johns Innovation Centre, Cambridge, United Kingdom. Both parties shared an exciting vision in tackling the challenges and opportunities for developing future leaders and managers in the post COVID-19 era.
The two parties have agreed the following provisions initially:
The two parties have agreed with a view to working together towards a Commencement Event in April 2022 for a range of postgraduate programmes through franchise.
Both parties have also agreed to work towards a Commencement Event in September 2022 for undergraduate programmes through franchise.
In the meantime, both parties have agreed to discuss options for PhD and DBA programmes through a collaborative model with coordinated efforts.
This event was delivered offline and online with more colleagues from both UWS and EICC participated in the signing ceremony. Professor Jonathan Powles, Vice-Principal, Learning, Teaching and Students, UWS, Professor Dominic Elliot, Dean of Business and Creative Industries, UWS, and Akram Mohammed, Director of Global Operation, EICC, attended the event in person at EICC’s Headquarter. Dr Roland NG, Vice President, Global Engagement, EICC , and other EICC colleagues participated online from UK and other countries.

We are building four distinctive colleges based on the 15 years of scientific research and innovation accumulated by the [China Association for Management of Technology] (CAMOT) on the technology innovation platform of [ELITE Innovation College Cambridge].
