Creating synergy by the consolidation of joint research on China Embracing Innovation and Extenics
NEWS REPORT OF COLLABORATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN EICC AND Extenics-SC
On 26th March 2022, Professor Richard Li-Hua, Founder and Presidentof ELITE Innovation College Cambridge (EICC), UK, and Professor Xingsen LI,President of Scientific Community of Extenics (Extenics-SC), China jointly signed a Collaboration Agreement on strategic cooperation via a virtual signing ceremony. Both parties shared an exciting vision in tackling the challenges andopportunities for developing future leaders and managers during the pandemic and in the post COVID-19 era. It is a grand gathering not only for the signing but also a further step towards the implementation of major initiatives of bothparties.

The two parties agreed to consolidate their relation through joint research and innovation, publication, launching international journal, and co-organize international forums and workshops on Extenics and China Embracing Innovation. Also they will make joint efforts immediately for the design, development, and delivery the bespoke PhD and DBA programmes in the academic fields of China embracing innovation and Extenics. Students who complete successfully their studies will be awarded a degree from EICC Degree Awarding Partners, including University of the West of Scotland (UWS).
A TV Series of programmes (pre-recorded videos) on China Embracing Innovation and Extenics is to be produced and up-loaded on EICC and Extenics-SC websites and YouTube as well as UN Peaceever TV, et.
Professor Zhang Lingling, who is from University of Chinese Academy of Science, the Director of Extenics Academic Communication Center of Extenics-SC, also attended this ceremony.

➢Constructed Extenics research base--Research Institute of Extenics and Innovation Methods, Guangdong University of Technology.research team. They have undergone difficulties in developing Extenics with extension methods. At present, there are more and more scholars participating in Extenics research. An Extenics scientific community has formed.
➢Established a national secondarysociety- Extenics Society of Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence and organized a great number of Extenics researchers.
➢Constructed Extenics researchbase--Research Institute of Extenics and Innovation Methods, Guangdong University of Technology.
➢Founded Extenics Academic Committee,Y outh Department, Propaganda Department and International Academic Exchange Department; organized “Extenics Series” Editorial Committee.
➢Establish company of Promoting and applying Extenics in Guangzhou-Guangzhou Extenics Information Science and Technology Co.Ltd.
➢Personnel training: In the form ofExtenics research scholar, since 1993, recruited 20 sessions of domestic professors, associate professors and lecturers to the Research Institute of Extenics and Innovation Methods, Guangdong University of T echnology to learn and study Extenics; fostered the domestic research elites of Extenics. Since 2012, recruited5 sessions of international Extenics researchers. Held several phases of extension engineering workshop on China mainland and T aiwan; many universities train postgraduates studying Extenics and set up postgraduate Extenics courses and elective courses; a great number of young scholars have joined in the construction of Extenics team.

Achievements of Extenics and Main Monographs of Extenics
Research Institute of Extenics and Innovation Methods of Guangdong University of Technology (https://extenics.gdut.edu.cn/English/Home.htm) is the affiliated unit of Extenics Society, Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, specializing in the research and talent training of Extenics and innovation methods. It’s formerly known as Matter Element Analysis Laboratory of Guangdong College of Engineering which was founded in September, 1986 by Professor Cai Wen, founder of Extenics and with outstanding national contributions. Itwas changed into Matter Element Analysis Research Center of Guangdong University of Technology in September, 1996. It was renamed as Extension Engineering Research Institute of Guangdong University of Technology in September, 1999. It was again renamed as Research Institute of Extenics and Innovation Methods, Guangdong University of Technology in May, 2012. Employees of the institute include full-time, part-time and contracted personnel with a total number of 46, among which 25 are professors, 12 are associate professorsand 9 are lecturers (doctors). At present, Professor Cai Wen, founder of Extenics, once was appointed as the honorary director. Professor Yang Chunyan of Guangdong University of Technology is the honorary director. Professor Li Xingsen of Guangdong University of Technology is the director. Professor Tian Yingjie of University of Chinese Academy of Science, Professor Yang Guowei of Nanjing Audit University and Professor Shan Wei of Beihang University serve as part-time deputy directors.
The research institute consists of 4 research centers. They are respectively Extension Theory Research Center, Extension Innovation Method Research Center, Extension Engineering Research Center, Extenics Academic Communication Center. Professor Li Qiaoxing (Guizhou University) is the director of Extension Theory Research Center. Professor Qin Jianjun (Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture) is the director of Extension Innovation Method Research Center. Professor Zhao Yanwei (Zhejiang Universityof Technology) is the director of Extension Engineering Research Center. Professor Zhang Lingling (University of Chinese Academy of Science) is the director of Extenics Academic Communication Center.
